Big Red is accidentally one of my favorite farm animals. He used to blend in with the crowd. At one point, we had way too many roosters for our hens and we ended up getting rid of quite a few of them. In the chaos, Big Red escaped to the woods until later than day. Now he gets to join our ducks free ranging and I’m better able to appreciate how stunning he is.
