About Erica
I find endless inspiration in the beauty that surrounds us—the fleeting magic of a golden sunset, the quiet serenity of a forest trail, the gentle promise of spring’s first bloom. My work is all about capturing those moments that stir the soul and make us pause in awe.
Ironically, my journey into the arts began by accident. I never saw myself as a creative person. In high school, I even tried to drop my required art class—thankfully, I lost that battle. That one class sparked something unexpected: a love for painting that quickly grew into a calling. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma, and I’ve been a full-time artist ever since.
Most recently, I had the honor of showcasing my work in the newly renovated East Gallery at the Oklahoma State Capitol. Today, I live in Chandler, Oklahoma, where I draw inspiration from rural life. When I'm not painting, I’m gardening, running a farmstand, or working from my home studio—always watching, always creating, always inspired.
